The Social Market Analytics Heat Map displays social media activity in two dimensions.

  • The color of the heatmap illustrates the sentiment of the current conversation about that commodity. Green colors indicate the conversation is very positive relative to recent conversations for that commodity. Red colors indicate current conversation is more negative than recent conversations for that commodity. Higher sentiment generally indicates that security is likely to go higher. Negative sentiment generally indicates that security is going to move lower. The scale of color is located on the boarder.
  • The size of the box indicates relative Twitter volume for that commodity. A large box indicates that Twitter volume for that commodity is unusually large compared to historical values. A smaller box indicates Twitter volume is relatively light for that commodity. Delta indicates recent sentiment changes.

What is a Social Score - The main peice of data is the social score (S-Score).
Social Score is indicative of trader sentiment, or how they feel positively or
negatively on Twitter and Stock Twits. it is not a buy/sell signal.


The size of the heat map box represents Relative Tweet Volume.
